Question and Reply about Steven under cut )

Gwen...

"Frankly, Rhys is very killable, because it would put Gwen through so much dramatically, but eventually you've got to realize what you've got, as a colleague of mine who worked on soap operas used to say 'You don't rape Snow White.' In other words, you shouldn't punish your central characters to the point where they become the walking wounded. It's one of those science fiction format things again, where writers often think that the lead characters are there to be punished, and I think we bordered on that in series one."

Jack...

"He was meant to be Spike from Buffy. Before series one was even cast, I thought the Doctor and Rose might be getting a bit comfortable by episode eight, so I had to get a man on board to shake things up a bit."

Fourth series...

"If there is a fourth series, I don't think we'll be rebuilding the Hub. It won't be business as usual, otherwise Children of Earth might as well never happened."

Gareth David-Lloyd

Today I woke up at 11:17. I didn't have any food, but I wasn't very hungry, luckily, as I really hate going grocery shopping for some reason. I went to the salvation army shop that is far away because it's the best one. I found a flowery dress that was 3-4 sizes too big but it has a tie in the waist so it works out and it's nice and flowy.

I don't really get/like fashion. It's like the Giant Sequin Monster has been on a rampage in 90 percent of the shops and vomited on all the items there. I don't really like sparkly stuff.

It rained for the first time in forever. It's been really cold and sunny lately, very uncharacteristically Trondheim. But today it rained.

When I was back inside B texted me and asked if I wanted to go to a café with her. We went through three different cafés before we found one with a free table. We ended up at Mormors ("Grandma's") and drank cocoa and had a crazy cake thing.

Then we went to the CD shop and I got two CDs (the newest of Kings of Convenience and Kent) and three(!!!) DVDs - the Reader, the Notebook and Once (oh, man..). I haven't watched any of them. Well, my brother said that both the Reader and the Notebook were good.

I'm making pseudo pancakes. I feel like I'm always cooking something or other. I don't really like cooking dinner because I don't have any (d)in(ner)spiration. But everything else... ah! I also started writing down recipes in a notebook so I don't have to search the internets every time I want to make something. It doesn's have so many recipes in it yet, but of course it will be filled out whenever I feel like it. There's something comforting about having a hand written recipe book (we have one at home as well and it makes me feel so nostalgic).

My flat mate bought toilet paper with snowmen on it. Maybe she's trying to set a new standard or something. I always buy the cheap recycled kind.

Hmm soon I'll have pancakes, jam, and possibly a horribly romantic movie. Oh sweet Saturday evening, I say.

My awesome giraffe earrings (link to my flickr..) have provoked my allergy. It's the only allergy I have - I guess that's positive... but it's annoying! Now I can't even wear my silver earrings... my earlobes were all, grawr, do not want, and got red and irritated and hot immediately. I hope they'll be fine again.

Hmm, seems like it's a trend for me to have irritated skin. Or at least, write about it in my livejournal hahaha. Still trying to get normal lips + only wearing lip balm outside, my upper lip is fine but my lower lip is still peeling and cracking.. if you were wondering.

Quiz tonight (soon!) looking forward to it. Discovery: Beer and chocolate cake is actually an excellent combination.

Tuesday, I went to a café with a friend of mine. I actually met her through a blog! (Wow shit.) When I was 17-18, I used to be pretty active in a blog service from one of our biggest tabloids. Got it through Astrid, we spent a lot of time there. Anyway, after meeting her through the blog we met her at a music festival in 2007 (along with some other people from the blog..) and then we kind of lost contact for a while until this autumn, because she's going to university in Trondheim. I ran into her at the student house in October and then on Tuesday we had cocoa and caught up and whatnot. It was nice.

I love Trondheim.

Anyway, have to get going to the quiz now! Aah!

WE ARE HAVING A NORTHEASTER HERE.

The roads are flooded, the rain is horizontal and the wind is crazy. Hubby is staying at Andrew's tonight in the city cause it would take him hours to get home. So it's just me and Benny huddled down for the night. We better not lose our power cause FF comes on in a few hours.

Funny picture of Jack to hold you over till FF.

I can't believe this semester is soon coming to an end... and exams are coming up. HELP. Nah, it will be fine, I suppose. December is exam month. Starting off with calculus 1 on the 7th, following with philosophy on the 12th; IT/programming (matlab) on the 16th, and general chemistry on the 18th. Going home the 19th! It will be nice.

Next semester I'll have inorganic chemistry, chemical processing, calculus 2 and some kind of linear algebra. So... that's chemistry and math. Apparently calculus 2 is KILLER... the Most Difficult Subject Ever... But I shall persevere, and perhaps focus on the exams I have NOW instead of the ones I'll have when summer commences. Haha.

Seriously, this school has SO MANY MATHEMATIC SUBJECTS

Hmm

I did pretty well on my chemistry midterm. :) And oh, tomorrow is the last lab day this semester!
