I had a good day.
It feels nice saying that and actually meaning it. I woke up at 7:45 because I suddenly heard The Killers screaming in my bedroom. Which meant my phone was ringing. I didn't get to it in time, but once I found it, I realised the store had called me.
I listened to the message and realised that they wanted me to come into work. Score. So I call Barb back and she asks me if I can, and ofcourse I say yes. I need the hours too badly to say no. So she tells me she needs me there now, which sucked since I had gone to bed at 3, but I dealt with it and went into work.
To cover Furniture.
I had a mild panic attack about that because I haven't covered furniture in give or take a year. Barbi did end up coming in at 11 and I was worried that they'd send me home before the time they told me (2 PM). But they didn't.
Instead I spent the day stocking with Teresa. I love Teresa. Aslong as your careful what you say around her that is.
At 1:50 Sue called me to the front so I could cover the front. I was like "But I leave in 10 minutes..." but I didn't bother arguing to much. Justin came in while I was standing at the service desk and the very first thing he said to me literally made my day.
"Hey Emmy. Like your hair"
For those who don't know, I cut my hair again.
After I got off the clock, I stayed and had lunch with Barbi. Ended up realising it was Erika's birthday, and I felt like a slightly bad friend for forgetting. I saw her when I went back up to the front and said hello.
It's kind of sad...but I've given up caring that we're drifting apart. Or that I'm more excited to see Chris anymore then her.
Oh well.
After work I came home and dived into the television world. Hanna and I decided to watch SOAP but we couldn't remember what season we left off on. I'm pretty sure we stopped somewhere in season three. But it doesn't matter. So we started all over.
I love SOAP. I haven't got to the episode with Chuck and Bob yet, but I can't wait. They are amazing but not my favorites.
That position goes to Jodie. I love Jodie.
Well I just love Billy Crystal in general. His autobiography 700 Sundays is one of my favorite books of all time. And I'm not sure why. It's really a simple book...but I love it.
Anyways. I took a bit of a nap around five then got up at six thirty. I said bye to Mom, Dad and Hanna. They left this evening to go to my cousins wedding in Kentucky. So I have the house to myself for the next few days.
Then I went and got Mary so we could see Knocked Up. The internet listings were wrong and the movie didn't start until 9, not 7:30 like we thought. So we got chinese then went back to the theater.
It was alright. It didn't really feel like a comedy to me...and it wasn't no where near as funny as The 40 Year Old Virgin. But I liked it. Seth Rogen is adorable.
I loved the bit where Jessica Alba was talking to Katherine Heigl, mostly because in my little world it was seeing Abbie talking to Abbey. Which makes me giggle.
And thats about it.
Good day.
